These two tools are located in the Gallery Details section of the Snapshot page on all Galleries and Events.
The Archive Fee is the amount which will be charged on orders for this event after the Archive Deadline date (see below). If the Archive Fee is zero, the Archive Deadline will not be active on your storefront. The Archive Fee is calculated as 100% profit for revenue share purposes, which means you keep all of it and it is not subject to the 15% transaction fee. You'll see the fee on your payments report in the Coupon column with a positive value (as opposed to a negative value for coupons).
A common use for the archive fee is to encourage people to place an order by a certain date, or using it as a surcharge for managing older events.
*New events will have a default Archive Fee of $5 added. This can be edited at any time.
The Archive Deadline (formerly Order Deadline) is the date on which orders for that particular event will start charging the Archive Fee (see above). If the Archive Fee is zero, the Archive Deadline will not be active on your storefront.
